Home Cinema Surround Sound
Entertainment is key to our lives. After along day at work we don’t want to go home and sit around with nothing to do and we certainly don’t feel like working on projects so most of us head home to sit in our comfortable chairs and watch TV. We watch the ads for the latest in technology and wish we could upgrade or we start researching products to upgrade our home cinema. The biggest factor in upgrading is the cost versus the continual change in technology. Some of us are satisfied with the older versions we have and dream about the latest system, others go out and buy the latest systems as soon as they hit shelves. It is your preference in what you wish to upgrade. Home cinema surround sound speaker systems have changed in recent years, not only to become more affordable for a good quality system, but also the features available. Below are some features that have recently changed.
The most significant change is the ability to have a wireless surround sound speaker system. This system works much like our wireless Internet. You have a hub that is hooked to the TV receiving digital sound signals the hub then transmits these signals to the wireless speakers. Some systems may only have rear wireless speakers so you will want to make sure you know which system you are purchasing before making the final decision. These systems are around $400- $1400 depending on the manufacturer and wireless system.
Another feature of all home cinema surround sound speaker systems is the design. Instead of having a huge hub taking up shelf space with large speakers taking up the floor space and looking unsightly on the wall we now have something much sleeker. The hubs are no bigger than DVD players, but they still have the AM/FM tuners and other features of the old systems. The speakers are also smaller. Instead of the large subwoofer it is now the size the other speakers were. You may also have a choice of small round speakers for the walls that blend in with your paint and remain unobtrusive to visitors and yourself. There are also small cylindrical speakers that look high tech while remaining out of the way.
Home cinema surround sound speaker systems have changed to be less burdensome to our home entertainment system. They have a sleeker design and can be wireless. You might be asking yourself if the new system is worth replacing the old one, the answer is definitely yes.
