Do you wish your surround sound system was wireless? Are you tired of looking at the speaker wires along your walls and ceiling or floor, just so you can have that movie theater sound? Well technology has finally advanced to allow for wireless speakers. Bose, Sony and other manufacturers have several systems to choose from with the wireless technology. When choosing the best system for you home theater you should be aware of some features of home theater wireless speakers.

Wireless Technology

The technology used by the wireless speakers is much the same as the wireless Internet. You have to have wireless card and a transmitter. The hub of the surround sound system is the transmitter it receives the sound signals from the television and sends it to the receivers in the speaker or what you can think of as the wireless card. This wireless technology eliminates the need for speaker wire cluttering up your home. It also allows you to place the speakers wherever you need to for the best sound quality.

Speakers

The speakers are a new design. Instead of being big boxes that take up a lot of room you now have an unobtrusive speaker. This speaker is usually white so it will blend in with your wall paint. You can purchase speakers that allow for wall mounting or speakers that will sit on shelves and look sleek. The wall-mounted speakers such as the Bose system are usually round and might remind you of your car speakers. They also have the shelf speakers that are cylindrical with a wide base. The size of these speakers is minimal and will no longer take up floor space.

Cost

The cost of the surround sound system will depend on the manufacturer and the quality you wish to purchase. While all systems have a great digital sound, the more expensive units such as the wireless surround sound may produce a higher quality than those still running through speaker wire.

Home theater wireless speakers are the new technology for your home entertainment center. The new surround sound system can be purchase online or found in stores. If you are interested in more detailed specifications of speaker size heading to the manufacturer’s website will give you the information you need before heading to the store. With the new technology of home cinemas you will find wireless speakers are just the tip of the features you can find.

We always want the best products for the best price. When searching for home Theater systems we still want the best, but how do we know what the best is? There are ads on TV, online, on the radio, and on the streets selling products and of course the manufacturers always advertise they are the best. The only way to truly know is to do a little research for reviews, articles, consumer reviews, and testing the equipment. This is no different when you are look at high-end home theater speakers. Below are a few manufacturers with high quality speaker systems.

Bose is number on my list. For decades we have been able to go into a Bose store and sit around listening to the different surround sound systems they sell. The quality of sound far surpasses other systems you have heard. Bose’s best system is the wireless surround sound. The wireless surround sound still maintains the digital quality sound we recognize while being aesthetically pleasing. The wireless system works much like the wireless Internet. You have a hub that receives a signal from the TV and then the hub sends the signal to the speakers.

Panasonic is another manufacturer of high-end home theater speakers. They also have wireless technology, however what makes Panasonic so great is the Dolby digital sound and the ProLogic II decoders. This is the sound we hear in the movie theaters. When we look at upgrading our surround sound system we try to imitate the surround sound of the movie theaters especially when we watch an action film. It’s no fun to have our television speakers try and make that boom when something explodes on the screen. They just can’t handle the power of that sound. So Panasonic has replicated the movie theater system to fit in our homes. When you purchase a Panasonic digital surround sound system you need to make sure you don’t over extend the wattage your room can handle. If you have high wattage in a small room the sound will be distorted.

The next system available is from Sony. Sony has several high-end home theater speakers. They are smaller speakers that certainly pack a punch. Their high-end systems have 200 watts of power. This is a good level for mid sized rooms. The HiFi sound you will receive from the Sony system is just as good as the Panasonic systems.

Remember when you search for high-end home theater speakers you will want to compare prices, quality and reviews of the products before making a final decision.
